ALL DAY SUCKERS
A comedy, with music, in which a young woman with a charmed life suddenly learns that her widowed father has had a catastrophic stroke. In seconds, she must become a primary care giver, trying to navigate the Byzantine complexities of American health care and figure out whether she can trust her insurance man. So much for that charmed life.
THE OLD MEZZO
A famous European opera singer, now retired, usually teaches singing. But today, inspired by the passing of an old friend, she teaches a special class in “The Politics of Singing” which she illustrates by casting her students in a memoir play about her adventures under fascism.

THE BAKING SONG
A one act comedy, set on a freezing Boston evening, in which a brilliant ethnomusicologist has a furious battle with her brilliant zoologist lover about whose great work is greater until a brilliant poetess arrives, in a panic because she has lost her cat.

THE BOOK OF CANDY
A musical (book and lyrics by Susan Dworkin, music by Mel Marvin, composer of The Grinch) about a suburban homemaker who stumbles into the maelstrom of politics and war and becomes — like the Biblical Queen Esther — a national heroine and a tyrant’s prize.
Based on Susan's novel of the same name.
